On Tuesday, February 20, 2024, residents of the Menomonie Area School District will vote on this question:
Shall the School District of the Menomonie Area, Dunn and St.Croix Counties, Wisconsin, be authorized to exceed the revenue limit specified in Section 121.91, Wisconsin Statutes, by $4,200,000 beginning with the 2024--2025 school year, for recurring purposes consisting of operational expenses?

The details of the referendum were set by SDMA Board of Education on November 27, 2023 after months of discussion and careful forecasting. The 9-member school board was unanimous in support of this referendum.

First, check your voter registration status at MyVote.WI.gov
If you're not registered to vote, register to vote (until January 31).
Once you're registered, find out where you can vote.
If you don't want to vote in person, you can request a mail in ("absentee") ballot and return it by February 16, 2024. (You will need a witness to sign your ballot, and you must mail or deliver it yourself.)
